Abdominal
pain itself
is not a disease, but one of the symptoms that could
either be transient in nature, or could arise out of
some serious ailments. Since such a vast array of
physical disorders can cause abdominal pain, the only
way of diagnosis is in the method of elimination. And
for doing that, it may become necessary to take into
account most of the known varieties of illnesses that
can possibly give rise to abdominal
pain.
Abdominal
pain may arise out of gastrointestinal disorders that
include gastritis, gastroenteritis, ulcerative colitis,
Crohn's disease or even hernia, tumors and
post-operative adhesions. Pain may also be caused due to
sickle cell disease, abdominal angina, peptic ulcer,
pancreatitis, hepatitis and liver abscess or kidney
stones and urinary retention as well as left renal vein
entrapment.
Many
gynecological or obstetric disorders can also cause
severe abdominal pain, and this
includes PID or the pelvic inflammatory disorder, the
ovarian cyst syndrome, PCOS, ovarian torsion,
endometriosis, mittelschmerz,
ruptured or bleeding cysts and ectopic pregnancy.
Threatened abortion can cause medium to severe abdominal
pain.
Though in many cases there are
absolutely no symptoms of ovarian cysts
, but there are some instances where there can be
an acute abdominal pain as well. In fact, among all the
symptoms of this condition, pain in the abdomen stands
among the most common.
So if you are
suffering from such a pain, it could
be because of cysts in the ovary. So you will need to go
and meet your doctor to get it diagnosed. The person
will ask for some tests to be carried out, including
ultrasound exams that will verify the presence of the
cyst.
The most effective cyst
treatment is however not conventional treatments and
even natural therapies. Rather, it is holistic remedies.
The holistic approach treats the body as a whole and
gets rid of the root causes and not just the symptoms,
and so, the cyst never returns.
